1. WHAT IS THE FOCUS OF THE STUDIO?

The focus of the studio is One-On-One acting coaching for the serious actor in a formal, intensive setting. One on One makes for powerful learning. The program is structured to provide the actor with a well-rounded, balanced training grounded in the Method technique. I believe in honoring the individuality of the actor and encouraging and supporting them to find their unique interpretations of the work through “tools” {healthy habits, self-care, and MENTORING} and techniques to serve them and cultivate a healthy relationship of both “self/truth” and “technique” and understanding how to execute it confidently.”

2. WHAT DO YOU TEACH?

I don’t believe that one particular technique can make you a well-rounded, formally trained actor. I do believe that ‘tools’ allow for that! NL Acting Studio offers private, one-on-one acting classes. Natalia’s theology is based on ‘Method’ versus Meisner and approaches every actor from their unique individuality. Every actor is knitted and made different:  that’s the beauty and uniqueness of every actor. We work on cold reading, scene study, commercial technique, improv for the film actor, sense memory and so much more. Once you have the tools and understand the craft of acting, you’ll become the best actor you can be!

3. WHAT IS YOUR TEACHING BACKGROUND?

I began teaching under my mentor, Broadway actress Tina Fila, in Memphis, TN, and found I had a God-given gift and a passion to teach! My love is acting in Film and Television. It’s intensive and the camera doesn’t lie, so neither can the actor!

4. WHY CHOOSE NL ACTING STUDIO OVER ANOTHER ACTING STUDIO?

One-on-one, intensive acting training is incredibly important to actors. 90% of your professional career will be acting with other people! To effectively work with someone else, you must have your own ability and confidence to stand alone in your craft. This will not only allow you to properly feed off of someone else but allow them to feed off of you. Knowing who you are as an actor will help you stand strong when working alongside other actors. NL Acting Studio teaches you how to find your voice and how to use it. Learning how to tap into yourself to pull organic emotion to create a story that people BELIEVE! If you don’t believe in your ability, no one else will.

5. WHAT CAN YOU PROMISE AND DELIVER?

Formal and quality training. Acting classes that are designed for the individual. I give you a safe, nonjudgemental, and supportive atmosphere. I will ask a lot of you because I believe in you! I’ll give you the tools you need to succeed, the rest is up to you!
